Hey, I'm Demi! I didn’t start out teaching coaches how to build businesses — I started where most fit pros do: on the gym floor. I left a career in politics for the fitness industry because I believed in the power of coaching and the impact it could have on people’s lives. I taught group classes, trained clients, worked early mornings and long nights, and built a strong reputation as a coach people trusted. And for a while, that was enough.
What eventually became clear was that loving the work doesn’t make the business sustainable. The gym model rewards showing up, not thinking long term. The more successful I became, the more income-capped and burned out I felt. My time, energy, and body were the business — and that wasn’t something I wanted to build my future on.
In 2019, I stepped away from that model and built a coaching business designed for longevity. I focused on creating scalable offers, clear systems, and a way of coaching that supported both client results and real life. Over time, that approach allowed me to earn more without working more, and to create a business that didn’t depend on being “on” all the time.
